One way to pass the time --
baking. Cookies. Oatmeal. YUM.
Avery thought so too. I did let her eat one tiny bite of dough -- despite the risk of salmonella and the crying that followed when I denied her a second taste -- I figured I'd be a BAD mom if I didn't let her take one lick. What's ONE taste?
Besides, I had one or two or three tastes too.

OMG we did this yesterday! I'll have to post pictures of our baking session, too! And oh, I let Marylin have plenty of licks ... that's the best part!

I always taste the dough. When my MOm bakes that is, I cant bake cookies for the life of me.
here is an useless fact, my kicthen counter is the same as yours.
