Frosty the Cookie

My good friend Lara showed me this cool little 'craft' I could do with Avery. It's so easy, and Avery was so into it. She wanted to keep making more and more.

Here's what you need:
Nutter Butter cookies
A bag of white chocolate chips
A bag of regular chocolate chips (we used the mini ones)
A bag of pretzel sticks

All you do is melt the white chocolate chips and spread the white chocolate onto the cookies. Stick on all of the accessories, and voila! You have a cookie snowman.

Aren't they cute and delicious-looking?

I'm a little concerned about Avery's though. She made three of them one-eyed, one of them has no nose and a really short arm, and one has no arms at all! How in the world is he going to "wave goodbye saying 'don't you cry,'"?

Those are adorable!! I guess you could use white frosting from a jar too, huh? ;) I'm lazy that way.

We made those with our kindergarten kids last year!! They were so fun and especially delicious! :) You know, Avery is going to be so far ahead of all the kids in her kindergarten class because at 2 she knows things (her Abc's and counting) that some of my kindergarten kids didn't know coming in. Thanks for the tips on blogging!

Look yummy! Maybe Avery's no armed snowmen can blink (or wink, if they only have 1 eye) goodbye?

May I please ask if their little noses are pretzel pieces too?

Don't lie - you made the ones on the bottom.

Sick of you to blame Ave for that.

    Sheesh.
