It's all about presentation
That's what a good cook (which I am not) would say, right? Today, Avery didn't want scrambled eggs and toast. So I opted for a Grammy Gigi Special -- I think she calls it "Egg in a Basket." I can only use this trick every now and then. It's going to lose its charm pretty quickly.

Is this an egg fried on top of the bread?
This is the only way Vicki eats it, I frie it first, then toast the bread, and them fried the bread in butter together with the egg:)
I found one nice way to get Vicki to eat eggs also is to just boiled them, cut them in pieces, and put some mayo and cheese on top:)

Nat, you butter the bread first (both sides) take a cup or something and cut a hole in the bread -- then put the bread in a pan and crack your egg into the hole -- you can either just cook it that way (which ends up sort of poaching it) or you can scramble it a little (which is what I do). It's yummy :)

How in the hell is it that you people have never done this?! I am shocked.
Ain't nuthin better than eggs, bread and butter - makes life whole.
When Avery advances to the fried egg sandwich I shall throw a party. It is a blissful food that ALWAYS cures a hangover. At least that is what I tell myself. I think it's cuz of the cheese and the yolks oozing everywhere. I think I shall shed a tear... so wonderful.
Totally gonna make one right now - they are addicting. Thanks - you just re-ignited my addiction. Great.
