Seven Year Itch

To celebrate our 7th anniversary, and more importantly, to get the HELL away from everything for a week, I'll be here.


I'm a little worried about mosquitos because they tend to eat me alive, but I've got my bug repellant and quick reflexes.

When my husband fulfilled my request to bring home the necessary vegetable for dinner tonight by slapping this sucker down onto the cutting board, should I have worried? Laughed? Hyperventilated?

My good friend and I went out last week with a bunch of our other friends for a Girls' Night Out. It was their mission to get out and have fun. It was our mission to get out and have fun and stay out until the bars closed. Then to go back to her house (yes, we had a chauffeur) and act like assholes until 3am when we finally passed out.

You have to relive your college days every now and then, right?

In between bars while walking in a well-lit and riff-raff free alleyway, we decided to act like total morons and take some pictures. I will spare her and not post pictures of her because I know she'll read this and kill me if I do. I will humiliate myself instead.

I must say, I think my favorite would be the one next to the porta-potty, but it's too blurry. Let me just mention that we really thought these pictures would turn out to be SUPERB. We were so, so wrong.


This one's not too bad considering it's much clearer than my vision was at that point.

My computer took a dump. It's making it tough to get online. I am just posting some random pictures from the last couple of weeks while I have a moment. I hope to get a new computer soon... I am dropping not-so-subtle hints to the husband.

Working on a photo collage

Someday I will actually print many of the pictures I've taken of the girls, frame them, and hang the frames. I have several in mind that I know will be included in this little collage, and this one that I took yesterday is the newest addition.
